Finds and summarizes invasive species within a buffer zone of designated locations.
Human Contact Locations can be point, line, or polygon features. A selected subset of features may be used.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>Invasive Species are normally polygon features, but the tool also accepts point and line features.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>The Output Feature Class contains all the attributes of the Human Contact Locations layer. It also contains a buffer distance attribute and a summary attribute. The summary attribute totals the area of the invasive species range that lies within the specified buffer distance. If the Invasive Species features are points, the summary attribute counts the number of points. If the Invasive Species features are lines, the summary attribute totals the line length.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>This geoprocessing model tool uses the Buffer tool and the Summarize Within tool.
